Adesola Akindele's passion for entrepreneurship began in 1998 when she realised she could create something and sell or offer a service and get paid. The first time this happened she styled hair for her mates at boarding school. 'I felt a rush. I was completing my A-levels in Kent College at the time a skill I learned by watching the stylists in a salon, my mum's side business, had become my first source of income and it did not stop there. Little did I know my journey to a life as a serial entrepreneur.
Adesola learned the limits of Passion and how to hold herself and mentees accountable. She learned that without accountability, you might as well be an arrow without a bow or target. She developed the knowledge that one must first build self in order to steer ones passion positively. That passion feeds ambition to fulfill your purpose and ambition with experienced guidance is pure and priceless magic! She came to see entrepreneurship as a vehicle for personal growth and awakening of self and skills she later developed and documented into Biabox, a mentoring programme. Over a 10 to 15 year period, one thing was constant, she mentored others.
